Dark Theme
There was a time when people have eagerly awaited the dark feature of WhatsApp. Now at this point of time, WhatsApp Dark Mode is available for everyone. WhatsApp looks more stunning in dark mode. Your eyes feel good while using WhatsApp in dark mode. You can enable dark mode by following these steps. Tap on three vertical dots on the top right corner to reach on settings. Now select chats and theme in display option. Select a dark theme. So in this way you have enabled the dark mode of your WhatsApp.
Customize Wallpaper
This is another exciting feature of WhatsApp. Till now you were able to set wallpaper only for default chat. But now you can set a different wallpaper for different chats. Suppose you want to set your favourite wallpaper for your favourite chat. Go to the chat for which you want to change the wallpaper. Now tap on the vertical three dots at the top on the right side. Select wallpaper and tap on change option. You can choose out of 4 options, bright, Dark, Solid Colours and My Photos. Every option has multiple numbers of wallpapers. So Chose your favourite one.
WhatsApp Advanced Search Mode
The search option is now more advanced. Now you will be able to search anything categorically. With this upadate you can search in more refined way. If you want to search something choose from these categories, Photos, videos, links, Gifs, audio and documents to make your search more filtered.
Mute Always Feature
Previously you had only two options to mute any chat. Earlier you could mute any chat for either 8 hours or for a week only. Now you have another option available to mute any chat. If you want to mute a chat forever then you have to choose Always. Go to chat for which you want to mute notifications. Tap on the three vertical dots on the top right corner and choose mute notifications. Now select the option as per your wish.
Disappearing Message
If you have a chat in which you received many messages every day and you are frustrated by deleting messages every day from a chat, then this feature can be very beneficial for you. For this feature, you can apply the message of any chat on automatic delete. If you choose the Disappearing Message option, then the messages of that personal chat will be automatically disappeared after 7 days. To enable this feature, open WhatsApp contact and select Disappearing message option and choose On option.
In 2020, WhatsApp got many special features, however we have described here only 5 of those features.
