No More Call Recording Via Third-Party App in Android.

Dear Android users the big news is coming from sources that Google is to ban the call recording feature from third-party apps. From now, Android users will not be able to record calls using third-party call recording apps. If the news is to be believed, the Google Play Store Developer Policy is set to ban the call recording feature. The main reason to ban the call recording from third-party apps is that it can result in privacy breaches. However, this is only for the third party apps for call recording. If you have a built-in call recording feature by Google, you will continue to use it as it is.

So, after the timeline which is the 11th of May, you will be able to record calls if you have an inbuilt call recorder. Hence, the devices such as Xiaomi and Pixel will continue to use call recording functionality.

Google is doing it because of privacy concerns. Google wants to reduce the misuse of the accessibility API, used by most call recording apps to spread malware on your android devices.
